Our friends at Florida Pets Network have a new article on Estate Planning for Pets: http://www.floridapets.net/pettrust.html. Did you know: The Doris Day Animal League has a campaign to create a Charitable Pet Trusts Act, which will uniformly provide the right for all Americans to plan for the loving guardianship of their longtime four-legged friends. Citizens for Pets in Condos encourages estate planning for pets, because the question of what happens to pets when a unit owner passes on is one of the unspoken reasons for not allowing pets.
