"BEWARE OF DOG" signs |

I recently learned of the extra liability involving those "BEWARE OF DOG" signs that are leading to lawsuits. the first link is to a news article about it... http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/content/shared/living/pets/scoop/0124b.html
It basicly says, (and after some more research and common sense on my part, makes complete sense) that having the "BEWARE OF DOG" signs is admitting to you having an aggressive or dangerous dog. So, why would you want to label your loving pet as a dangerous dog? I wouldn't. Anyways, after more online browsing I came to this other web site that are offering "Dog in Yard" and "Dogs in Yard" signs. http://www.bigdoorproducts.com/index.html Which are informing people of instead of SHOUTING to ppl. I highly recommend you if you have those BEWARE OF DOG signs to pls get rid of them. You are labeling your dog as dangerous and losing the lawsuits. I'm not saying that you will win any and all lawsuits you may face in the future by using "Dog in Yard" signs but you are by far reducing your liability and forcing invaders to have personal responsibilities. I thought this is a VERY IMPORTANT issue and I appologize for the long post and in noway am I affiliated with the "Dog in Yard" ppl but I did just today placed an order for 7 of their signs. |
