"Monet" is about 4-5 years old. She is about 7 lbs., and blind.... She has a sad story and we are trying to find a forever home for her with someone that understands her special needs.
She was the victim of a "hoarder". She was left in a pen to fend for herself with other dogs. Animal Care and Control got her out of there... She is proably blind from old untreated injuries that more than likely happened while she was being neglected.
This is the good part...She absolutley loves everyone she meets, and wants to play with everyone, and loves nothing more than being petted. She loves puppies and is very motherly towards them and has been great with kittens. She would be perfect for someone with a condo or apartment, and I would say a home with no small children because she does not move very fast , and might get stepped on, she has never shown any aggression towards childre. She loves to be carried around and has ridden in a dog stoller. She would love a home with another friendly dog as she seems to look to other dogs to navigate. She really is the sweetest and best behaved Chihuahua I have ever met. I am fostering her her right now for a rescue shelter, but would love her to have her own forever home.
