Message:		A paraphrased quote from the Buddha goes something like this: Don’t believe anything you hear, read, see, I say, etc. even though you may think it’s Divine revelation. Unless, something deep down inside you quietly goes, “Yes, that’s true.” Then, you believe it. This is the truth recognition mechanism. We all have it within us. Potentially available all the time. The mechanism is simple. When a perception (such as a symbolic communication) containing a Truth (that is at the core of your being) enters your mind, your being responds similar to a form of sympathetic resonance. Kind of like: ‘like resonating with like’, (if you like ). The continual application of this mechanism allows our consciousness to be altered by words. How much Truth is in the communication and how much Truth we are open to determine the depth of the ‘ring’. Examples of consciousness being altered: Verbal => Agreeing with every word that was heard and not being able to remember what was said. Written => Having to continually put a book down because the ‘resonance’ caused by the Truth (being absorbed) makes it difficult to do the reading process. The Truth resonance mechanism is over-riding the reading mechanism. Peace
