The last post mentioned these and, in my arrogance, I feel they should be touched a bit more. It was stated that from a Divine reference they are not that important. And…from Man’s (Humanity) reference point, they can be important. Religious philosophy is way for the limited finite temporal mind to give an ‘order’ to the Infinite Eternal ‘Scheme’.
Imagine a three dimensional diamond with numerous facets. Each facet is a two dimensional plane on the three-dimensional diamond. A religious philosophy that is conceived by a finite temporal mind is like a facet on the diamond. Trying to put a two-dimensional surface on a three-dimensional object; it’s going to be missing a dimension. Ironical, world religions that are trying to kill each other are different facets on the same diamond.
Whatever you give to Love, in order to grow/union/comprehend/etc., Love will use.
A Catholic monk experiences a Universal Love after doing a Lexio and it’s expressed within the Catholic context. A Wicca experiences a Universal Love after doing a ritual involving Gaia. It’s the same Love. Speaking to each person along the lines (philosophy) set up or used by that person. This event (that occurs from the philosophy’s application) can be important to the individual. For Love, it is the avenue of expression that has been made available. How deep the ‘expression’ goes is dependent on how much Truth is in the philosophy.
Or… to whittle all this verbosity down to one statement: Your religious philosophy, which has been given to the Universe/Divine/Whatever, is liable to be the venue for the Universe/Divine/Whatever to ‘speak’ back to you.
We are dealing with an infinite all encompassing Love here.
