How a logic system can fold up and create that which is not logic. |

Mathematics is the best logic system Man has to date. It is Man's only logic system that can juggle infinities within infinities within infinities.infinitely and still have something workable (as with fractal equations).
So.it has some excellent examples of how a logic system can 'fold up' to create something that is not relevant to that logic system. There are at least two major math NO-NOs:
1) Division by 0 (y = x/0)
A, Creates a math expression that has no proof. (What number (y) times 0 = x?. none!)
B, Of course, being math, there are an infinite expressions of this NO-NO. (x/0)
2) Taking the square root of a negative number.
A, A negative number times a negative number equals a positive number. [(-X) x (-Y) = XY] There is no real number multiplied by itself (square root) that will equal a negative number.
B, Even though this is a math NO-NO and doesn't exist from a math stand point, math has created a system that acts as if it does and creates a whole new number system.the imaginary numbers (numbers
involving the multiplication by the square-root of -1:  ).
i) Acting as if the numbers really exist, they are
juggled using math logic.
ii) One can re-enter the real number system by
eliminating the (i) expression. (through division, subtraction, multiplication, times-itself, etc.)
Where is this going?
It shows how a logic system can fold up' and create something outside of that logic system. It also shows how a complete logic system can encompass that logic NO-NO.
How is this metaphysically/mystically/spiritually relevant?
It shows how it is possible for an Infinite Eternal Logic system can fold up' and create a temporal special case'.
It also shows how it may be possible for the logic of a temporal (mortal) mind can fold up' into something that is not temporal; to use mind to jump into not-mind.
If you are not temporal, you are then eternal. If you are not in the temporal mind, then you are in the Eternal Mind; whether you know it or not.
The biggest pitfall to this is?
To mistake the logic system for the fold' it creates. (Remember, the fold' is not relevant to that logic system.) Which means mistaking the philosophy for the end product or mistaking the map'
for the actual terrain'.
And.it can be done. Many western mystical/metaphysical/spiritual
disciplines use this concept.
What is an example of this?
A common example how a logic system creates a non-relevant 'fold' is laughter. The mind does 'something' that sets aside mentation and enters a different state.
