My weekend Labrador (DAWN)
As DAWN knows, I would like to have some dog energy in my life but we do NOT want to own one because we want to be able to travel frequently. Cats are much easier to deal with. So I have been enjoying the dogs that come in & out of my life and we are willing to dogsit in our home. I particularly like Labradors, they have a good personality and feel good in my hands. We spent Saturday evening with a very good friend, she has a couple dogs, one which is a golden Lab  . Another dinner guest brought her two dogs, one was a Pomeranian, very cute and our son liked holding her ~ cuz she liked being held of course! The other one.... OMG it was funny. Looked just like a golden lab - in a freaky body! She was part Corgi. As the dinner guest said, "She looks like a lab walking in a ditch." LOLOLOLOL. Here are her pictures, altho she wasn't cooperative about standing for me. Look at those feet and squatty body, poor thing!

A very serious question..
did the lab kneel down or did the corgi have drywall stilts on ??? hehehe |

I think he is adorable...I can see the corgi feet or hocks...almost like a basset hounds too. Windy continues to be the best dog in the world! (even if she is sassy when she wants something) |

She was real sweet too, peaceful & calm. OT I was wondering the same thing. If corgi was mama, that must have been a rough birth, lol. She was adopted from an elderly couple that had to give up their home. Supposedly she's 15 years old but sure doesn't look it! |

Ha funny dog. My neighbor called me ranting cause my boston terrier( male ) and his german sheppard were going at it on his front lawn. She layed on her belly so he " could have his way with her " Haha good boy Max !!! Thank god no puppies came out of cause they would have been the ugliest things on the block. He put up a fence shortly after. mike |

Hey All Thanks, been lurking here and there and catching Rob's webcast/chats on Fridays. I miss our chats here thou. Tammy , work screwed me out of my April reach .... new times allowed for vaycay and April aint allowed anymore. SOB!!!! April and Nov. are my favorite times. I had a buddy bring Juba down some sneakers...you know how ratty his shoes always are.The pair he had on was about to fall apart so he told my buddy that I must have kmown and sent them down for him, ahhhh my buddy Juba !! sooooo when are vacation times now? Maybe Feb.?? Mike Feb. is so nice .. weather is as perfect as it gets in Jamaica that time of year. Trying to plan a trip for Sept. but not exactly set in stone just yet. Gotta see how OT and Airfare holds up. Dam $500 Airfare puts a damper on me flying anywhere. |
