I feel very strongly about a few things.. I don't trust most people in Jamaica (especially men).. I don't have enough experience in Jamaica |

Lots of strong smart women travel to Jamaica trust me on that. As far as experience, no matter how many times one goes or how much time one spends there one will never be experienced enough to avoid drama, deceit, trouble of somekind, and even love. Love as in with a man, woman, or just innocent friendship. Sooner or later you are going to trust the wrong person just like you have somewhere else in this big ole World. It's life, it happens, and no one is safe from it happening no matter how smart or experienced they are. Now if we just want to refer to Jamaica then why don't all those people stand up and tell us about how their so-called friends (not boyfriends, not girlfriends, but just friend)took advantage of them or lied and deceived them? How much money did you WU them? How long did it take you to figure it out? Don't even try and tell me that doesn't happen just as often as women becoming involved with the men as I know it does and have heard many stories about it through email, phone, and in person. For some reason people don't want to talk about that. |

hey tammy true words you speak . . . i can give you my view as to why people don't share the negatives . . . i shared on another board and got slammed so fast . . . i'm thinking us travellers don't want others to think we are dumb or naive . . . jamaican people that mix with tourists are quick and really good scam artists. how many stories have we all heard? my this and that and on and on . . . |
