Winni....
I just read about your Mom !!!! I'm so sorry but if she had no regrets than that is a good thing !!!.I'm sure I speak for all of us here "here is a group hug!!!" My mother past at 92 years old, never been sick a day in her life and left us in 9 days. When she was 91 she drove from Nova Scotia to downtown Toronto in a 1971 Toyota Tercel (that was only 12 years ago)by herself !!!! she took 4 thermoses of tea and about 15 sandwitches and away she went. What a trooper !!!! She past in Aug and that spring she dug her garden by hand(as always).I miss her as do my grandkids...but she said 2 things to me before she left. 1.If everyone kept living the world would be full of old people you didn't like.2.She said an old Indian told her onetime "if everyone was the same they would all be trying to screw my old squaw"....no how is that for wisdom....hehehe |

Thank you OT. I think I would have enjoyed your mom!hehe I feel as if I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Reality to kick in.... I am so busy with finishing up all the things pertinent to her estate, I feel I had better hire an assistant to help me remember things. I write them down but then forget to look at the list! On another note, Crosby didnt make it but the Newfie did! |
