Our 10 Sulphurs are lucky this year. We have enough Alfalfa hay the we grew ourselves. Photo is of our field. Alfalfa hay around here in Utah is $200 a ton in those huge bales. Chuck and I have a friend, Jim, he is an 83 year old Mustanger. He still rides and breaks his own horses.Jim can not handle those HUGE bales, so he uses a chain saw to cut those big bales into quarters, making it much easier for him to handle.... (When Jim was a young man, he would ride in Book Cliffs of Utah, he would catch, train and sell mustangs.) |

Sounds like Jim needs to write a book! At one time the bookcliffs held some of the finest Spanish Mustang stock you could find! Duane |
