SSHR Campout 2008
The SSHR Campout is scheduled for July 25 - 28, 2008 but it will most likely be postponed until the end of August because I am so behind on everything. I hope that this won't interfere with anyone's plans but if it does please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks, Naylene |

WOW! Do you ever take some time out just to rest? You are going to be really busy. Are you still planning to go to the Western States Wild Horse & Burro Expo in Reno, Nevada, August 15 - 17, 2008? |

Sounds like fun! I have heard those Wild Horse and Burro shows are quite fun.  I probably dont have to remind you to take your camera and lots of batteries!  When I was a little girl, my folks would go to Reno to gamble. As we were driving from Oregon to Reno, I would always see horses, lots of pretty horses running around out in hills and meadows. I just knew the were "wild horses"! I would ask my dad to stop and let me see them, but he and mom wanted get the hotel to play the "one armed bandits". In those days, (1950s-1960s)kids weren't welcome and no one planned any activities for us kids! I would always become fast friends with the other orphans whose parents were gambling.  We did a lot of fun things together, but I had always wished they had dropped me off to live with the horses for that week!!! |

I am definitely changing the date for the campout to August 28 - 31, 2008. I really have a lot of things to catch up on and my little dog Tiki is going to have her puppies about Aug. 6th so I will need to let them get a lot bigger before I try to take them out on their first campout to the Sulphur HMA, she is so miserable right now she would not have a good time if we went now.
