Photos of your horse
Take a nice BIG photo of your horse and save it as a PNG if you have a choice. A PNG will not get fuzzy around the image. A big photo can be reduced and still look good. But trying to enlarge a small photo looks all blotchy. Computers usually have photo fixing software, if not, go to www.photobucket.com and download your photo there. They have software that will let you size and save your photos. A 300 or 400 pixels wide photo looks nice. Then email it to: http://www.equestmagazine.com/Post.php ... Check it out! This photo "opt" is a good way to spread the word about our beautiful Sulphur Horses. |

Yes, that is momma Cielo (CLO) and filly, Honey. We had just moved CLO and Honey, out of their "nursery" pen. The next day we moved them with all of the geldings out to pasture. Everyone is enjoying the nice green "grass". The other day, I looked out side and saw a funny display of love and concern. Apparently, Honey, being only 2 months old, decide to take a nap. She just laid down and went to sleep. The rest of the herd stood there, watching the filly, in a group for about 15 minutes, not moving anything except their tails. It looked like the horses were eating and then someone yelled out "FREEZE". |

What color is she shedding out to be? She kind of looks like she will be grulla but then her muzzle kind of looks more brown than grey which would make her a dun.....very pretty!! |

The best I can tell from the photos, she looks like she will be a silver grulla or light grulla. Usually if they are going to be dun their muzzle and around their eyes stay the dun color but hers looks like it is going grey. She will be pretty!!

I tried to help out Deb by sending her the code, but I sent her an incomplete code. I will try again. This is a photo of my girl, Desert Honey, dob 3.29/08. Honey is growing up and is almost as tall as her momma.... I wanted you all to see Honey's legs. |

The stripe starts at her ears and goes down her back, and down to her belly. It also is in her tail... What a cutie... |

Desert Honey keeps changing her coloring. I wonder what color she will finally be? We named her Honey because she was a lite golden brown for so long. Then suddenly, she started changing colors. Today she is a redish dun! It's like that old commerical "Only her hair dresser knows". Her momma, CLO is grey and her daddy, Prince is grey. Honey's colors are changing like a Dalmation pup. One thing is for sure, she has lots of stripes, even on her belly! So in case anyone wants to see more of the Zebra that is in my pasture, click the "computer" icon on the left side of the screen. |
