troble transitioning

I have so many things seeming to get in my way of transitioning, many of those around me make me feel like its wrong for me to do so or will not "stick" around and refuse to call me Andy and call me Abi which is my "female" name most important are my girlfriend and my dad, I'm sure my mom would do the same but she is unaware of my transition.
I have found the only "normallcy"(I know that's spelled wrong)in my life has been to Identify as a Butch Lesbian, to which I'm not totally obosed to sense I have support from my dad and obviously my girlfriend, it is also hard because I have two little boys one is 8yrs old and the other 4yrs. There's fears and challeges, I don't like having a female body...but it brings me acceptance in the Lesbian and Gay Community because with it that way I'm part of something not inbetween and I can't stand to be hated. I'm sure I could go on don't have all the words right now just want honest, feed back.

Re: troble transitioning

The most important thing to know is that no matter what other people say or do or think, you cannot be happy if you are not true to yourself. Whatever that self is, don't let it die because people dissaprove. Be strong. If you want to talk, I'm here, for what it's worth.
