Dosage too low?

I just switched from Androgel (after about 6 months) to injectible. I had my first shot on Friday and today is Thursday, right before my next shot is due and I have felt great up until today. Right now I feel absolutely horrible; low energy, have a headache, and am basically depressed. My endo put me on 50mg/wk. Does it seem unreasonable to assume that it's because my dosage is too low and since I'm at the end of my cycle I feel incredible wiped out due to low T levels? I've felt this way before; the only other time was when for a few days I was using really low potency gel that had accidentally been left in my car and frozen.

Does anyone have any similar experiences/stories? What do you think? I'm really worried about having to experience this feeling at the end of my T cycle for the next few weeks until I get an appointment and blood tests to fix my dosages if this is indeed the problem.

Thanks,
Ian

Re: Dosage too low?

Ian, there is no way for us to know what dose you should be on. However, make sure your new dose is equal to your old dose of androgel. If it is, tell your doc about the issues, there could be something else happening, and oyu should rule out other problems like drug reactions. I was on 50mg a week for a few months and it was totally effective in my transition. Others might tell you it is way too low. Your bloodwork is the best indicator. Perhaps you can get it done sooner?

Re: Dosage too low?

Thanks for the reply. I understand, obviously no on can tell me what dosage is appropriate, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms in relation to low testosterone (either at the end of a cycle, or particularly at the end of a cycle that is a too small dose).

peace

PS: I did my shot and I feel fine now

Re: Dosage too low?

Hey Ian,

Yeah man I have those symptoms too. I had to be put on a low dose cream to use between shots to keep from getting all wiped out and depressed. Talk to your doc, maybe you need something similar.
