Is there a difference between the Periaeriolar surgery done on small-chested FTM's and a Gynocomastia procedure done on bio-men with excess breast tissue? A local surgeon (who is active as a trans resource) suggested doing a regular Gynocomastia surgery on my friend who is a candidate for keyhole surgery. The doctor described the procedure as lyposuction combined with removing the fiberous breast tissue that an FTM has, while also resizing the nipple. I say this to emphasize that he's not just talking about doing lypo. This surgeon has some experience with double-incision (double mastectomy) and a lot of experience with Gynocomastia but wasn't familiar with the terms "keyhole" or "periaereolar". I'm trying to determine if there is any difference between the two procedures. They sound pretty similar even though they're called different names.

I had my surgery last year by Dr. Fiala in the Orlando area. I was a small A. And he did a regular gynocomastia surgery on me. Two of my closest friends were also done within the same month. One was a C and the other a Large D (maybe a double D). Both of them had double incisions with nipple grafts and I had lipo only. I did not have any nipple resizing at all. All of ours came out GREAT and we are very happy with the results. I was happy that I had a regular gynocomastia surgery because that is what is on the file "Male Gynocomastia". If the doctor is giving you satisfying answers and really kmows his stuff then you are good. But don't be afraid to shop around. Most give free consults. We went to 4 different docs before we found this one. We all did our consults together and Dr. Fiala was not only the most knowledgable, but his staff was AWESOME. They were always sure to make us feel comfortable and every time you go in they are so great and friendly. If you would lke pics of my chest I will send them just give me an email. Good luck

Yes I do. If you selec Dr. Fiala you will get one of me abd one of my buddy. He did ours about 2 weeks apart. I have another friend that got his done by Fiala about 2 months later,but he hasn't put pics on Transster. I will send you some other ones too.
