Hi Sam - Well I would have to say my view is biased but I have lived here for 12 years and absolutely love it! We do have at least one of all we need - i.e. post office, pub, shop etc and also have other amenities such as the bowls and football club too. Of course there are the down sides as nothing is perfect - gravel being the main one in my opinion, but that is now further away from the village than it was originally going to be.
Very occasionally you do get a wiff from the sewerage plant in the summer but it really is very rare. I have spoken to the Environmental people who say that the sewerage plant should never smell at all - even close up and if it does it means they have the chemical balance wrong and we should ring them and they will get them to sort it out!
