As a regular visitor now but former resident to Cogenhoe I feel the bench should be put back a.s.a.p. The bench has been there for a number of years providing a resting place for the residents e.g for sitting waiting for the bus or a halfway stopgap when walking from the shop for the young and old alike and a 'central meeting point' for the local teenagers where I have seen them just sitting and chatting like teenagers do. Yes I agree the litter was a problem but since the bin has been erected this problem seems to be resolved. Surely the teenagers of the village should be given a chance. |
