I've kept my mouth shut for a bit while Ed and Bultitude made their points as a)I've been busy with my "day job" as a reporter...and b) I wanted to see what others had to say without my interjecting my two-cents worth. Not surprisingly I agree with both and all I would like to add is two things I've said before. First, there is no such thing as bad characters, just bad writers. B)We're just talkin' comics here. Now, if we were discussing something like what personal influences in the life of Robert Crumb resulted in him producing the work he did or how Jack Kirby's experiences influenced the material he developed or what sort of personal influences Kris Silver had that resulted in him taking the approach he did to his work, well, I feel that those would be worthy conversations to delve into. This one isn't so I think I speak for everyone-besides you of course-when I say let's put this threat to rest and move on to other things. The Jazzy One |
